Artak attack
60 Winter 551 (02 August 2003)
- Puh, my time to hunt is really limited these days.
Nevertheless I picked a particulary good day for hunting
fur. Within several minutes I was attacked by several packs
of artaks! One of them delivering a whopping 18c fur! Wooooh!
Thanks to Gunslinger who helped me gathering coins at
one point in the south forest. Now I will wait for another
of these days soon.... the lib is waiting to get its fees! 8)
- Oh right, apart from coin hunts I tried to be helpful
at rescues. Here I heard a call that a fighter was needed
in the orga camp and as I arrived all was already well. On my way home I stumbled over another crime scene. This time I was more useful and showed the orga how fierce a furry can
be! *chuckle*

- Some days later I noticed that the teleporter to
the cloud was back at its usual place and lot of hunts
were going on there. As my clanmate Catweazle still
reported to be fallen to a polar bear after quite some time
I decided to see
what was the problem there. I entered the tunnel in the snowy area and
appeared right in a fighting scene!! Luckily the situation
was already almost resolved and all were up within
minutes. Good I dropped by, huh? 8)
Later I was hunting the new bear cavern with the forester as
we heard Xenos and Coins having problems right outside.
Well - at that place we had no real problem to handle the
rescue alone. (Of course after Lorikeet came 8) Still quite good coins! *chuckle*

- Welcome a new exile! Curmudgeon just arrived
from some dwarfen colony and still needs to learn our
ways. I am very sure he will adapt quickly - he already
spends all his time looking for beer! 8)
By now he decided to join the fighter class, answering the foresters
question about his career choice (use babelfish, if you are
curious *grin*).
