Cleansweep seven

 30 Winter 551 (25 July 2003)

  • Pfew, it's really hard to find a way out of library these days. Anyway, occasionally I make it and have some fun time like recently in the coliseum.
There was lots of betting and plenty of great fights! Special kudos to Relkin who managed an extraordinary show! *chuckle* First he challenged a Frenzy (or was it a Wrath? They all look alike for me!) and got some heavy beating. So he tried again against three goats and almost screwed it again! Really close call... 8)

Brave deeds as seen recently in the Coliseum
  • Captain Stinkfish dared to take on two large sand worms and it was a really tight fight. In the end he was red, but victorious! Well done Capt'n, you made the crew really proud! I myself fought against a cave maha and survived. Go me! (Pity there were no fur to recover...bah!)

The captain delivering an even better show! Arr!
  • After losing a lot of money in the coli I needed to hunt again. A nice group formed and we headed to the cove to find our luck. Unfortunately it run out as we found a starbuck lyfe in addition to several cave cobras. We could deal with the cobras, but got no chance against that super hard lyfe. Time to limp home....

Trying to take a starbuck lyfe...
  • So I teamed up with Leos to go to some easier places. We rushed the savannah and I had to hear a lot of praise about brooms. Leos bought one from Emer and it was just ridiculous to watch him whacking the mahas with it! As we went further south to hunt large sand worms I eventually fell. Looks like I need a broom, too!

Lectures about advanced weapons!
  • Oh right, I also got a valley invite! That was fun! We were a pretty strong group and had not to much trouble at first. It became a bit more exciting as a pack of eight valley panthers spawned around us! Thanks to some great chain action and the running of Usagi we regained control in no time. I was also very proud to notice that I can brick most of the stinging beetles by now, as long I don't swing 8)
There was also very sensible training advice by Suu'ub, which I probably won't honor in the near future anyway. *chuckle* Thanks all for a great hunt!
(Oh, in case you wonder - we got plenty of coins, but this is one of the rare coin-free updates. Enjoy! 8)

And something new learned at a valley hunt.

I want to remind on the Orga Camping III!
Please register if you don't want to miss this big OOC meeting near Munich, Germany at 8-10. August 2003. Even non-Edarians are welcome! 8)
