01 Winter 550 (21 April 2003)
- Oh lucky day! Zhirem invited me for some cove hunting!
We were a pretty small group at first and found out quite
quickly that we needed more than one brick for beetles to be
successful. After Kishi, J'jh and Torin joined us it became
massively easier - but there was a huge lyfe spawn which
caused considerable trouble. Yuk!

- After killing the beetles and lyfe in the entrance cave we
had to care about six cobras as well. But resistance was
futile 8)
Veer found lyfe whiskers and I was lucky enough to win
them! Wow! Quite a nice display of good fortune... Falken then
was able to snatch the catsbane, which happy Simon won. ("Bah, I got
the cheap thing!" 8)

- And as I talked to Miss Skea recently I was happy to
learn that I reached 150 lessons at last! Took quite some time,
and now there is small break in order to train for 4th circle.
Pfew - I am able to get now furs up to 40-45c quite reliably.
Think of me when you need a skinner 8)

- Time for some hunting again! We gathered a nice small
group of 3rd circle fighters (the captain, Dongle and me) and
with Catweazle we checked out the new Brions Isle. Not much
to find there - but at least I earned some coins! Stinkfist and
Catweazle both offered me 5c when I was stupid enough to whack
some fiery bubbles! Of course I was! *chuckle*.
We headed then for MI and asked Tater if she could help with
some sasquatches. Luckily she could and we had a very impressive
high level hunt!

Leos joined us too and after MI we did the
KI waters tour - we resisted the temptation to die on LSW isle
and moved on to fat alices hut. There we found some beetles
challenge and decided to go to bed. This was great fun! Go
third circlers! 8)
Btw, Capt. Stinkfist passed 4th circle by now. Guess he was
pretty close - congrats!
