A night out with the mystics!
76 Autumn 548 (19 January 2003)
- Welcome to another of my adventures! Plenty of stuff to
report, so please bear with me when I hang behind a bit. 8)
So, some weeks ago I was part of a quick hunt through snaggle wood.
We had no problems at all to reach bones. But beyond the wishers
gate it was very busy! Took us like six or seven runs until we
reached the trainers grotto. Unfortunately time constraints forced
us to go home at that point. But I went all the way to orga village
at the next trip... 8)
Onward through Hatred Hollow! |
- Well, in town I stumbled then over a bunch of mystics.
Quite strange to see so many of them gathered at one place. Zorton
waved then at me and I moved instantly close to the group! Yikes!
As it turned out they were planning a mystic hunt and Ebony and me were asked
if we wanted to brick along. Sounded like fun and so we went towards
the myrm queen chamber! And please note, that we went without any
healer *chuckle*.
Hey Zorton, it's not over yet! 8) |
- The group did really good and it was great fun to watch
all the boosting and running as they killed one myrm after the
other, while we fighters held them at bay. Then only the queen was
left and I tried to brick it with the help of some balthus boosts.
However, some bites found their target and I went down. Now it
went pretty fast downhill. But the rescue came shortly after -
healers are useful after all, right! 8) Also thanks to Duran who
did some impressive chaining! After all were up again we went back
to the queen and finished her off! Har! Don't mess with mystics! 8)
Now it's over! *chuckle* |
- After so much enchanted action the noids hunt was quite
basic. We started in some small group and then a backspawn hit us!
Leos slid down the tunnel and I called out for a bit of assistance.
Thanks to all who helped! I certainly enjoyed the part where
iTornade placed a cask of beer to block some noids and to get drunk
at the same time! 8) A real dorf! Yay!
Ah yes... time to visit the noids again! |
